Project Promise is Willamette Academy’s new program dedicated to increasing access to higher education for promising students who are from groups that have been historically underrepresented in colleges and universities in the United States. This free program at Willamette University consists of a series of workshops, seminars, and clinics that will provide admitted students and their families with the confidence, resources, and skills to succeed on the path to college.
In addition to reinforcing the message and reality that every student is “college material”, Project Promise will complement other college-readiness efforts by getting students on a college campus, introducing them to Willamette staff, faculty, and students, and helping to demystify the college and financial aid application processes.
Students in grades 8-12 in the Salem-Keizer community are encouraged to apply here.
If you have any questions about the application process or the program in general, please call 503.370.6536 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
