"In high school I was really involved in community service and the class council. I enjoyed putting on activities for the school and working with people. So I came to Willamette and got involved in many organizations — including the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Asian Student Association, and working on the annual lu'au.
"A trend among Willamette students is that we love to challenge ourselves by exploring our interests and getting involved in as much as we can. Willamette definitely supports students in doing that.
"Being part of the swim team at Willamette was the best decision I made. My teammates are like family, and they are always there to support me in everything that I do. I value the sense of community I get from this campus, and I know that I’ll still be close friends with my teammates long after I graduate.”
