Willamette's Baseball Game with Centenary is Canceled by Weather

McKINNEY, TEXAS – The baseball game between Willamette University and Centenary College (La.) scheduled to be played on Sunday, Feb. 10 in McKinney, Texas, has been canceled due to wet field conditions following thunderstorms on Saturday night.

As a result, Willamette concludes its road trip to Texas with a 2-1 overall record. The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 16 against Whitworth University at the Swing into Spring College Classic in Pasco, Wash. Game time is set for 4 p.m. (PST)

Also during the tournament, Willamette will play Lewis & Clark College on Sunday, Feb. 17 and will take on Corban University on Monday, Feb. 18. First pitch against L&C is scheduled for 1 p.m. and game time versus Corban is slated for 11 a.m.

Hunter Gallant and the rest of the Bearcats will not play Centenary on Sunday. Willamette is 2-1 on the season.
