Lindsay Russo '15 received a Carson Grant

Lindsay Russo '15

The faculty and students congratulate Lindsay Russo '15 for her Carson Grant titled "Warm-Up Duration: Effect on Dynamic Knee Valgus for Female Soccer Players"

Lindsay's research will investigate ACL injuries, a common injury for high school and collegiate female soccer players. This study will measure a common precursor of ACL injuries after two warm-ups of different durations, 50 minutes and 30 minutes, to determine if current warm-ups are too long, thereby increasing ACL injury risk for this demographic. Congratulations Lindsay!
