Willamette graduate earns recognition for student research paper
Willamette University graduate Chelsea Robinson ’10 recently had her research paper selected as an “outstanding example of student scholarship” and published in the ASIANetwork Exchange, a liberal arts Asian studies journal.
Robinson, three other students and Professor Miho Fujiwara received the ASIANetwork Freeman Student-Faculty Fellows research grant to conduct research in Japan in summer 2009.
Robinson’s report was recognized as the best paper among the 54 student fellows from 14 institutions who wrote research papers with the support of the grant.
Her paper, “Presentations of Emperor Hirohito in Japanese War-Related Museums,” can be found in the Spring 2011 issue of ASIANetwork Exchange. Robinson majored in Asian studies.
