Senior Honors Recital showcases Willamette's burgeoning talent

Music's most accomplished student performers will be featured during the 2012 Senior Honors Recital, Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m. in Hudson Hall.

The public is invited to the free, farewell performance for the talented musicians who will graduate with bachelors' degrees spanning a broad spectrum of majors. The program will include classical pieces by such composers as Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms and Gioachino Rossini, in addition to contemporary and improvised music.

Besides celebrating the students’ notable musical achievements, the department will showcase the College of Liberal Arts at Willamette University, where gifted students with diverse academic interests have the opportunity to study and perform music at the highest level.
