Each admitted first-year student is given automatic consideration for scholarships. No separate application is required. The Admission Committee uses several factors to select scholarship recipients. These factors include evidence of academic promise and the candidate’s potential contribution to the quality of the entering class. Students are notified of a scholarship award in their letter of admission. Scholarships are renewable each year, as long as a student maintains a cumulative law GPA of 2.90.
Students who intend to enroll in the Joint Degree Program in law and business management should know that the College of Law and the Atkinson Graduate School of Management award scholarships separately. A scholarship provided by one school does not apply while a student is studying at the other.
