Federal Documents

Where do you find local public access to Federal Documents?

The Willamette College of Law Library, Mark O. Hatfield Library, State of Oregon Law Library (Oregon Supreme Court Law Library), and the Oregon State Library are all federal depositories receiving selected United States Government publications.

We provide the public with access to these materials without charge in accordance with our Rules and Procedures.  All such publications are stamped “Depository Document”.

1.   Online Catalog: All titles received by the Willamette Law Library from the federal government are cataloged and may be searched by title, author and subject using our online catalog.

2.   Web Access: A substantial number of government documents may be accessed through various federal government websites.  Mediated searches will be performed by the Public Services staff.
