ZenaFest 2018

Join us for our annual fall event showcasing our Zena property in the Eola hills, ten miles from campus.

Sunday September 9, 2018

12:30-4:30 p.m.

ZenaFest is our annual fall event that connects the Willamette University Community, including family and friends, with our 305 acre Zena property, and showcases the work of students, faculty, staff, and our partners to advance our educational and ecological missions. We welcome all students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and guests to come spend a few hours exploring, learning, and having fun!

Transportation

Parking at Zena is limited, so we're asking all current students, staff and faculty to reserve a seat on the buses that leave from campus at 12:30pm and 1:30pm, and return to campus at 4pm and 5pm. Exceptions to this may be granted, and must be requested no later than Wednesday September 5th. Bus reservations are included in the cost of the event ($5).

Alumni, family, and guests may reserve seats on the buses, but may also drive private vehicles to Zena and access our limited parking. Please register in advance to recieve detailed directions and instructions. Thank you for helping us make ZenaFest as safe and enjoyable as possible.

The schedule of buses returning to campus may be adjusted in the event of inclement weather and/or to better meet the needs of attendees. Everyone who takes the bus out will have a ride back to campus.

Come Prepared!

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, including comfortable walking/hiking shoes, and bring a water bottle to reduce waste.

Please contact Joe Abraham, director of Willamette University's Sustainability Institute, if you have questions.
