Students Tour the Salem Capitol with Representative Clem

Recently, Willamette Academy students and Lupe, a graduate of Willamette Academy who now goes to WOU, met with Representative Brian Clem and toured the Salem Capitol building. The students were inspired by the tour and by meeting Representative Clem, who encouraged them in their academics. Representative Clem told them the importance of education to him and his legislation, and encouraged them to continue their educational journey by showing firsthand the rewards that their efforts could produce. “It was really cool to meet a Representative and to see how government works”, said a student.
