First-year (freshman) applicants must submit:
- A completed Common Application or Willamette University Application. Either may be submitted online (no application fee) or via hard copy ($50 application fee).
- A completed School Report Form and one Teacher Recommendation are required with all Common Application submissions and can be accessed via the Common Application website. Note that we require that the Teacher Evaluation be completed by a teacher of an academic subject such as mathematics, English, science, etc.
- Common Application users must also complete the Common Application Supplement for Willamette University.
- Students submitting the Willamette University Application should print out the Official Transcript Request and give it to the high school counselor to complete.
- An official high school transcript
- SAT I or ACT (with Writing) scores
Transfer applicants must submit:
- A completed Willamette University Application or Common Application for transfers. The transfer Common Application is similar, though not identical, to the standard first-year Common Application.
- Common Application users must also complete the Common Application Supplement for Willamette University.
- A completed College Official's Report.
- An official college transcript from each college attended previously
- An official high school transcript
