We’re located about ten yards from the state Capitol steps, but that’s not the only reason why so many students have access to so many leadership opportunities here. Whether you want to take the helm of student government, develop public policy or organize some of the largest events on campus, you'll find the resources you need within easy reach at Willamette. The University has been a place for emerging leaders ever since the Oregon Legislature held its first meeting here in the 1850s, and you can be part of that rich tradition. Here are just some of the leadership opportunities you’ll find at Willamette:
- Associated Students of Willamette University (ASWU)
- Bistro Willamette
- Class Councils
- Interfraternity Council (IFC)
- Intramural Sports
- Opening Days
- Panhellenic Council (PHC)
- Parents & Family Weekend
- Willamette Events Board (WEB)
