JD/MBA Program Admissions

The JD/MBA program at Willamette University is an integrated four-year program that combines the strengths of the School of Law and the Atkinson Graduate School of Management. This dual-degree program allows students to earn both a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), providing a comprehensive education that prepares graduates for leadership roles in law, business, and beyond.

To apply for the JD/MBA program, you can apply to both the JD and MBA programs simultaneously, or you can apply to one program while already enrolled in the other. When completing your JD application, be sure to indicate your interest in the JD/MBA program. The Atkinson Graduate School of Management can use your JD application materials and will reach out to schedule an interview as part of their review process. When applying to the JD program, you must submit your GRE or LSAT score.

If you are already admitted to the JD program at Willamette University, you have the option to apply for the MBA program at any point during your first year of law school.

We encourage applicants to submit their applications well before the April 15th priority deadline. Applying early increases your chances of being considered for scholarships. The final deadline to apply for the upcoming academic year is August 15th.

Please note that applications will continue to be accepted after the priority deadline as long as seats remain available in the first-year class. For any questions, feel free to contact our Admissions Office at (503) 370-6282 or by email at law-admissions@willamette.edu.

If you have any questions about the application process or the JD/MBA program, please do not hesitate to contact either the Law or MBA admissions offices. We are here to help guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
