Early Career MBA: Career Management

Career Services programs build a bridge between your MBA and your professional career. From self assessment to negotiating for salaries, students get started right away. They identify their career options, refine their career goals, develop job search skills (research, resume, interviewing and networking), and prepare for their internships and career positions. Along the way, career services staff, faculty, peer advisors and mentors are available for assistance.

The professional development of Willamette Early Career MBA students is further enhanced by Willamette's emphasis on experiential learning and the collegial nature of the program. Students build the work experience they need for career entry, change or advancement while they complete their MBA, and have easy access to a local and national network of faculty, alumni and managers.

The Early Career MBA program places a high priority on career development. Students participate in career services activities throughout the program and complete their Career Roadmap as part of the required first year course PACE I: Practical Application for Careers and Enterprises - Achieving Your Career Goals. Students also have special access to powerful internet career resources for their job search.
