Willamette's MBA internship program offers the opportunity
to explore career goals and enhance professional experience.
Students seeking an internship for the summer of 2008 did very well, with
more than 91% accepting an internship offer.
Internship employers included: Rubicon International, Intel Corporation,
Tektronix, Inc., Hundai Motors of America, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide,
Theatre Communications Group in New York, Bonneville Power Administration,
State of Oregon, Medical Teams International, RealNetworks, Xerox, and
more.
Internship projects involved a variety of functions including business
development, supply chain management, human resources, project management,
investments, ecommerce, accounting, strategic finance, marketing, data
analysis, information technology, etc. Ninety-three percent of internships
were paid internships. Salaries averaged $565 per week. Hourly wage averaged
$16.57 per hour. The range of the hourly wage was from $8 to $40 per
hour.
