I encourage you to familiarize yourself with both manuals. As a Willamette University and Atkinson School student you are responsible for being aware of your rights and responsibilities, the academic policies and standards of conduct governing the entire Willamette University community, the Atkinson School and the services available to you. You have received a copy of the Willamette MBA Student Handbook and of the Willamette University Selected Policies Manual. The Willamette University Selected Policies Manual is also available at http://www.willamette.edu/dept/campuslife/policies/. The Willamette MBA Student Handbook is also available on the Atkinson School Intra-Web, as are links to the Willamette University Selected Policies Manual. Although the manuals are a major source of information about the Atkinson School and Willamette University, be assured that you are always welcome to call on members of the faculty and staff if you have questions. We also encourage you to share your suggestions and comments regarding policies, procedures and services with the Associate Dean or the Atkinson School Student Academic Affairs Committee (SAAC). On behalf of the entire Willamette University community, I invite you to take full advantage of the resources and services available to you. My best wishes for a successful year. Sincerely, Debra Ringold
