Ringold Appointed to Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA)
The Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (also known as NASPAA: The Global Standard in Public Service Education), has appointed Debra J. Ringold to its Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA). Ringold is Dean and JELD-WEN Professor of Free Enterprise at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management and currently serves on the NASPAA Executive Council.
COPRA is the governing body that reviews all institutions that are seeking accreditation or up for reaccreditation by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration. Willamette University’s Atkinson School (and MBA program) was accredited by the organization in 1996 and is one of only two programs to hold dual accreditation through the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration and by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
Ringold has served as Dean of the Atkinson School since 2007 and teaches courses in public, private and not-for-profit marketing. Her background includes academic research and professional consulting work in all three sectors.
