Professional MBA (PMBA)
  ::  Financial Aid

Student loans are available from a variety of sources to help PMBA students meet their goals. PMBA students who are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident may be eligible to borrow up $20,500 per year through the Federal Stafford Loan programs.

The following steps will help you apply for the Federal Stafford Student Loan programs.

  1. Complete the PMBA Application for Admission.
  2. Submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid)

The FAFSA is required to determine eligibility for the Federal Stafford Loan programs. The FAFSA code for Willamette University is 003227.

FAFSA Online

Private credit-based educational loans are also available to qualified PMBA students who are international citizens, U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents. Private loans are generally more expensive (interest rates, fees) than Federal Stafford Loans, and are based on your credit score.

Student loan programs are administered through the Willamette University Office of Financial Aid. The Office of Financial Aid will notify admitted students who have submitted the FAFSA form of their eligibility for loans. Eligible students must submit a Federal Stafford Loan Promissory Master Note to secure loan funds. Loan applications and promissory notes will be provided by the lender(s) selected.

To get the most from your loan program be sure to consult with the financial aid staff to review your options and select the best lender for your goals. If you have questions, email the Financial Aid Office at gradaid@willamette.edu or call toll free at 1-877-744-3736
