STUDENTS: Curriculum

The Early Career MBA curriculum is designed to provide the following benefits:

1) a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of management - the basics you need to succeed in any management position.

2) an integrated understanding of general management.

3) enhanced professional, communication, leadership, team and career management skills.

4) in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience, and

5) the opportunity to pursue your individual goals in one or more of the following career areas of interest:

Students interested in international management will also find an assortment of courses that support their career interests.


The specific number of courses required to complete the Willamette University MBA degree vary with the student's program: MBA, BA/MBA and JD/MBA.

MBA students who entered the Early Career MBA program prior to Fall Semester 2008 must successfully complete a total of 66 credits. These credits must include:
