1. Cohort Model and Moving ARW 2024 to 2025

Willamette adopts cohort reunion model. Join the next Alumni Reunion Weekend, June 12-15, 2025.

For many years, Willamette alumni have asked to have opportunities to gather during Alumni Reunion weekend with classes near their own. The overall reaction was very positive when alums from three reunion cycles came together after COVID-19 pandemic restrictions were lifted. As a result, we are excited to announce a new cohort (sometimes called a "cluster reunion model") Alumni Reunion Weekend (ARW) model.

Other exciting things happening on campus helped us decide to postpone the 2024 Alumni Reunion Weekend to June 12-15, 2025.

Willamette is investing in important improvements and updates to our infrastructure this year. These long-term investments will allow current and future students, alums, and our broader community to benefit from modernized facility infrastructure. You can learn more about some of these projects here.

These large-scale projects will mean that campus facilities, utilities, and support services will be limited during the summer to allow for updates that impact our campus-wide boiler system, electricity on the north side of campus, upgrades to the University Center, campus Wi-Fi, and more. We are excited about these updates! For these reasons and the opportunity to implement a reunion cohort model, we are pleased to host you back home in Salem in 2025.

2. Alumni Reunion Weekend 2025

When will ARW take place next?

The next Alumni Reunion Weekend will occur June 12-15, 2025.

What will the schedule look like?

While the schedule is still in development, we'd love to hear your ideas and requests for the Weekend.

What does this mean for impacted classes?

Classes that would have celebrated a milestone reunion in 2024 will be invited to join with those celebrating a milestone reunion in 2025. Alumni who are not in a milestone reunion year are always welcome to attend. We are excited to see you!
