Parents and the WU ChallengeEarlier this spring, a generous alumna from the class of 1966 graciously offered up to $50,000 to match gifts from parents and alumni. This incredible match has been dubbed the WU Challenge.
Letters announcing the WU Challenge were sent to parents and alumni in April, and so far, Willamette has received more than $10,000 in gifts in response. You can follow the progress of the challenge or make a gift online now.
Gifts for the Parents Fund will be used to support educational resources accessible to all students. These include, among other things, library materials, hardware and software for computer labs, and support for the Learning Center on campus.
The WU Challenge comes at an important time of the year because the fiscal year at Willamette ends May 31. The WU Challenge helps inspire donors to renew their support or make their first gift in hopes of reaching our annual fund goals for the year.
Remember: Even if you’ve made a gift this year, any new gifts made by May 31 will be matched.
Thank you for your support!
