Bearcat night at the Seattle Sounders
Saturday, July 7
8 p.m.
We have a limited number of tickets to the Seattle Sounders vs. Colorado Rapids game on Saturday, July 7, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $26 each, and there is a four-ticket limit per alumnus/a. Cost includes ticket and access to the Green Loft area one hour before the game starts!

Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis, and we expect to sell out quickly. They will be available from will-call on the day of the game.
Team Willamette: Phoenix St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance
Join with other local Bearcats in the Phoenix area to live out our motto by serving food at the St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance.

Children Must be 12 years of age to volunteer Appropriate attire: Due to Health codes and safety reasons, a required dress policy is in effect! Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes; shirts need to be short or long sleeved (no tank tops, spaghetti straps, etc.) and shorts are okay.
St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, the world's first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to sites that serve the hungry. Serving two-thirds of Arizona's 15 counties, the organization is committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.

Special Notes: Volunteers are asked to wear close-toed shoes and clothes that they don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Although volunteers will be under cover, they will still be outside, so dress accordingly. Bus Lines: Bus #8 stops at 15th and Alberta, and Bus #72 stops at 18th and Alberta.
Kayaking the San Juans
July 20-22
Get ready for three days of summer kayaking and camping in the San Juan Islands, courtesy of the Travel Program.
The "explorer expedition" is fully catered and supplied, so interested alumni need only to sign up and bring some sunscreen. This trip will be conducted in small groups of eight kayakers (one professional guide/cook for each eight people who sign up) up to a maximum of 24 total. No sea kayaking experience is required.
There are other Travel Program offerings on the way, too, including 2013 trips to the Black Sea and Turkey.
