Dean Hawkinson to Retire
Dean of Campus Life Bob Hawkinson will be retiring from his post at the end of this academic year. After 10 years as dean, Hawkinson will be continuing in a more limited role as a politics professor here at Willamette.
An event of appreciation for Dean Hawkinson is scheduled for May 4, 3-4 p.m. in Goudy Commons. Alumni are encouraged to attend.

Salem-area alumni are invited to take part in a home stay program for visiting students and teachers involved in Willamette's Youth Leadership Program. The program is facilitated by the International Debate Educator's Association (IDEA), whose offices are based on Willamette's campus.

New York Regional Event: Willamette Music Faculty Recital

New York-area alumni have the opportunity to see two of our current music professors in a duo recital on Feb. 19.
Professors Elise Yun (piano) and Hekun Wu (cello), will be performing in conjunction with New York's Korea Music Foundation. All are invited to this free event.
