Willamette Parents Raise the BarAs of May 29, the Parents Fund at Willamette has received over $204,619 in gifts. This surpasses last year’s total.
“We were pleasantly surprised that so many parents contributed amidst the economic turmoil of the past year,” said Jean Brennan, incoming co-chair of the Parents Advisory Council. More than 900 parents made gifts to the Parents Fund this year, which is about the same number as last year.
The Parents Fund supports many campus programs available to all students. Among other things, these gifts go toward computer labs and campus technology, the Hatfield Library, student activities and student services.
The parent relations office will be counting gifts for the next few days, and every gift postmarked by May 31 will be included in this year’s total.
You can find the final report about the Parents Fund at the Office of Parent Relations website after June 15.
