Three Trips Round Out 2009, Program Looks Ahead to 2010
This has been a busy year for the travel program, and trips such as the ever-popular Shakespeare in Ashland are filling up yet again.
There are three travel opportunities left in 2009. Take a look below, and remember to check the alumni travel program website soon for a listing of the trips for 2010.
Walla Walla Valley: History and Agriculture
Tom Edwards '53 will serve as guest lecturer for this trip, taking place Aug. 11-12. As a traveler you'll tour through Eastern Washington for a taste of the area's history and vineyards.
Canada's Atlantic Coast
From Sept. 24-Oct.3 we'll visit Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. This is territory the travel program has never visited, and it promises to be a trip to remember.
South Pacific French Polynesia Cruise
We'll finish the travel year with a bang. From Oct. 29-Nov.4 -- the perfect time of year, we think -- the trip will offer a fabulous itinerary, camaraderie, cultural education and incredible natural beauty.
