Travel Program News
Welcome to the regular feature for the Willamette travel program for alumni and friends of the university. We will update this section regularly with what is new and/or upcoming.
Three 'homegrown' trips are coming up soon. The first is a longtime favorite: Shakespeare in Ashland. The trip will take place June 8-11 this year; unused rooms and show tickets will be returned the first week of May, so call or email Jim Booth immediately if you are interested in this trip.
August 16-18 will be your opportunity to see some amazing sights in the Columbia Gorge, the Wallowa Lake area and Baker City. Emeritus Professor of Northwest History, Dr. Tom Edwards ’53 will be our guest lecturer. We will travel in air-conditioned vans with pick-ups in Salem and Portland.
September 19-24 will be a golfer’s fantasy: four rounds at four nationally ranked courses in Northern Wisconsin, including the fabled Whistling Straits course which will host the 2010 PGA just 5 weeks before we will be there!
Go to www.willamette.edu/alumni/travel for more complete information. As always, feel free to call Jim Booth here in the office at 503-370-6746 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
