Oregon Ethics in Business Award finalists announced
Students in Willamette's Full-Time MBA programs evaluate and recommend nominees for the Oregon Ethics in Business awards, a yearly program honoring outstanding organizations, individuals and non-profits throughout the state. The student reports are a vital component of the process, where each nominee is evaluated based on environmental stewardship, social responsibility and ethical decision making. The Oregon Ethics in Business Awards Banquet will be held June 15 in Portland.
Willamette MBA students participate in the Aspen Institute's international case competition
Students from 25 leading business schools, including Willamette University, will compete next month for recognition and $40,000 in prize money by exploring the significant and positive influence that business can have on society. Through the analysis of an innovative, new business case study, the Aspen Institute’s 2011 Business & Society International MBA Case Competition aims to inspire future business leaders to innovate at the intersection of corporate profitability and environmental, social, and ethical issues.
