Willamette community: challenge accepted
Some of Willamette’s generous trustees helped us thaw out from the winter cold by offering $48,000 for our annual fund if we could raise that same amount by the end of the fiscal year, May 31.
The We Are Willamette challenge began to heat up during its kickoff on May 28. Strangely enough, the post-Memorial Day Weekend weather also became warmer. Coincidence — or does the Bearcat community have even more power than we know?
By the end of the campaign, 286 households helped Willamette raise over $76,000, far surpassing the $48,000 goal.
Today, the weather is gorgeous. Summer is finally here and Willamette is much better prepared to provide scholarship aid and much-needed faculty resources for the next school year.
