This month's WU News is about Willamette people doing what they do best. There's politics in there (Mark Hatfield fans, take note); alumni events, both long-held and new; and a lot of student/faculty productivity.
Some special notes:
University of Puget Sound tailgate Nov. 16
Many of us gathered in support of Bearcat Football as they took on Linfield at home last weekend; now it's time for you Seattle/Tacoma-area Bearcats to come out before WU takes on UPS! Nov. 16, 11 a.m. Be there. Burgers, brats, and all the fixings. Information and RSVP
It's college application season: know any good future Bearcats?
Our friends in admission are gearing up for the many applications soon to roll in, and they can always use your help. If you recommend an applicant to WU -- a family member, someone you know -- they can waive the normal application fee. Just have them select the "Willamette Waiver" option in the Common Application, and everyone wins. More at willamette.edu/go/apply. (Early Action deadline is Nov. 15; Regular Decision deadline is Feb. 1)

It was another fun family weekend -- check out some of the pics here.
Stay dry out there, everyone, and happy Thanksgiving!
