Vieyra won two Northwest Conference individual titles during the NWC Championships on April 20-21 in Tacoma, Wash. He took first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.05 and was victorious in the 1,500-meter run in 3:57.21. He was one of four male athletes, including teammate Ian Batch, to claim two NWC titles. Along with Batch, he helped Willamette sweep the middle and long distance races, as the Bearcats won the 800, 1,500, 5,000 and 10,000-meter events. Vieyra registered an NCAA provisional qualifying mark with his time of 3:53.32 when he took fifth place and was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the 1,500-meter run at the Willamette Invitational (April 6-7). Last year, Vieyra finished second at the NWC Championships in the 1,500-meter run behind three-time national champion Nick Symmonds of Willamette.

May was chosen Athlete of the Meet after winning Northwest Conference titles in the 100-meter dash and the 100-meter high hurdles at the NWC Championships on April 20-21. May recorded an NCAA provisional qualifying time and a school record with a time of 14.84 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles. Her winning time in the 100-meter dash was 12.80 seconds. May also won the 100-meter hurdles at the Willamette Invitational on April 6-7. As part of Willamette’s 4 x 100-meter relay team, May ran the anchor leg for a first place finish and an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 48.48 seconds at the Western Oregon University Twilight Meet on April 27. On April 30, She received the Jean Williams Award as Willamette’s top female student-athlete due to her leadership skills, academic success and athletic ability.
