SALEM, ORE. -- The baseball doubleheader between Willamette University and Corban University scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25 at John Lewis Field has been canceled due to the weather. No make-up date has been chosen, but the games may be rescheduled later in the season.

Corban was originally slated to host the doubleheader at Warrior Field, but the games were moved to Willamette's John Lewis Field due to wet grounds at Corban. If the doubleheader is eventually rescheduled, Corban will bat last.

Willamette's next action on the baseball diamond is set for Saturday, March 3, when the Bearcats will open Northwest Conference play with a doubleheader against Pacific Lutheran University at John Lewis Field. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. (PST). The WU versus PLU series will conclude on Sunday, March 4 with a single game starting at 12 p.m.
