-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do all the systems
come with AC adapter/chargers?
Yes.
What kind of software do I need at Willamette: Though it is not required for undergraduates, it would be difficult to get by without a copy of Microsoft Office (available for MAC and Windows). The best source for specially priced academic software is
TechHead.org (student ID# required). You can obtain single license versions of MS Office from them for about $95.00. The Willamette Store sells MS Office Standard 2007 for Windows for $139.00, the PRO edition, including Access 2007 (req. for AGSM students) and Publisher 2007, is $199.00, and the Mac 2008 edition is $149.00 (there is no PRO edition for MAC).
All three are good for up to three licenses on three separate computers.
Which version of the Vista operating system should I select?
According to WITS (Willamette Integrated Technology Services), Vista Home Premium is the ideal choice for Willamette students. Windows XP (SP2), Vista Business and Ultimate work fine too.
