This concert is the culmination of a week-long celebration and features "Sweet Honey in the Rock". With over 30 years of performing, this acapella group is known for it social consciousness, political involvment and messages deeply rooted in the African American vocal traditions. The music is steeped in the sacred music of the Black church and impacted by the Civil Rights Movement and songs of the struggle for justice. Doors open at 6pm and is general seating.
