BA/MBA Combined Degree

Our Program
the ba / mba program program provides the unique opportunity to pursue a liberal arts education in whatever major you choose and complete both your ba and mba in five years.

Your liberal arts education develops your communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. The Atkinson School MBA enhances those skills and prepares you for management positions in business, government and not-for-profit organizations.

At the Atkinson School, you will build a strong foundation in the functions of management and managerial decision-making. You will learn to manage a workforce, structure an organization, negotiate for the resources needed to fulfill your responsibilities, facilitate and respond to change, identify and provide value to customers, and interact in international settings. You will gain the knowledge, confidence and interpersonal skills required for leadership and teamwork in the private and public sectors. And you’ll have multiple opportunities to build your real-world work experience through class consulting projects, case studies, internships, simulations and the unique PaCE Enterprise Project (where teams of students create and run a real enterprise).

The BA/MBA program is designed for highly motivated students who have well focused career interests in management. Interested Willamette University students submit their application for the BA/MBA program to the Atkinson School during their junior year. Students admitted to the BA/MBA program begin their MBA education during their senior year and generally complete their MBA at the end of the fifth year of study.
