Jessica Cardinal-Lanier

Student Support Advisor

Jessica joined the Student Success Hub as the Student Support Advisor in 2017.  During her career in higher education, she has worked in Research, Program Coordination, Experiential Learning, and Academic Advising.  Jessica has a unique role at Willamette - she works to support students who are on academic probation. In regular meetings with students, she monitors student progress and coordinates on-campus support for students to help them meet their goals. Through the lens of developmental advising, Jessica’s passion is helping students achieve academic, professional, and personal success.


Outside of work, Jessica volunteers her time as an ASPIRE mentor at West Salem High School and as a board member for the Native American Advisory Council at WU.  She is an avid reader, mother of twins, Canadian expat, and ocean enthusiast.
