Brian Gross

Brian Gross earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in Agricultural and Resource Economics. His dissertation was titled, "Beneficial Bees and Pesky Pests: Three Essays on Ecosystem Services." He has done post-doctoral research on the economics of honey bees at the University of British Columbia and is currently co-project director of the Bee Informed Partnership (beeinformed.org), a large extension project studying the U.S. beekeeping industry. His publications address the marketing and valuation of ecosystem services. He has taught at UC Berkeley, U British Columbia, and at Humboldt State University in California. He is very excited to join Willamette University this Fall!
