Work Experience: Retired with 34 years in teaching. Started with third graders in Parkrose. Worked for Head Start. Was an Assistant Professor of Education, Campus Elementary School in Monmouth. Taught at Children's Hospital School in Eugene. Was part of the DOD program on Okinawa. Taught on the ward at Shriner's Hospital in Portland. Wound up in Salem at Bush, Sumpter, and Schirle Elementary Schools and tutored children from kindergarten through high school as a transition to full retirement.
