Hayley received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Musical theatre performance from Oklahoma City University. She relocated to the Portland area from New York City, where she pursued a career in the performing arts for eight-and-a-half years. Hayley has worked professionally in almost every area of theatre: performance, direction, music direction, playwriting, and stage management. A few favorite performing roles include: Mayzie LaBird (Seussical, national tour), Emma Bovary (Madame Bovary: The Musical), and mainstage performer and vocal captain onboard Disney Cruise Lines (The Disney Dream and The Disney Magic).
Hayley was assistant choreographer to Tony-nominated Marcia Milgrom-Dodge for two years. She has had three original shows produced as staged readings in New York City and Washington, DC, and plans to continue writing and directing in the Portland area. Hayley is an established voice instructor, specializing in healthy technique and fixing existing vocal issues. She further serves as a vocal coach, piano instructor, and acting instructor in her private studio, as well as several other performing arts academies in the area.
