Become a Resource: Mentor

Our office seeks to compliment our studentsï¿½ education with learning opportunities outside of the classroom. Many students involved in service are also developing skills in topics such as fundraising, event planning, fixing and painting homes, time management, marketing, working with marginalized individuals, building community gardens, restoring habitats, and tutoring kids.

The learning that comes from service has more of an impact if students are given the opportunity to reflect and discuss what they are experiencing with a mentor who can supplement the learning with their own life experiences and skills.
