1. What is it?

The Internship and Volunteer fair provides a place for various agencies from the community to recruit applicants for either internship or volunteer positions.

2. Why should I go?

This is a great opportunity to see what internship or volunteer positions are available for now, or in the future. Even if you don’t know what you want to do or where you want to go, this fair will provide you with many options and the right people to talk to. You might not know you’re interested until you see what’s there.

3. What can I learn/get from it?

You will learn of available opportunities in the community and just might find a position that works for you. It’s a great way to find places that will build your professional network, resume, and experience.

4. What should I wear?

You should consider this fair as a type of informational interview, dress to impress but not over the top.

5. Should I bring a resume?

If one of the internship or volunteer positions fits what you’re looking for, you should be prepared. A business card will also get the job done.

6. Do I have to stay the whole time?

No. The fair is a drop-in event. Feel free to stay as long as you like.
