Mission Statement

Residence Life and Housing at Willamette University seeks to foster an environment that is supportive of student growth and learning. We center our work on developing each student's self-growth and wellbeing, providing them with an opportunity to create meaningful connections with others. We believe that creating spaces where students feel like they matter and belong encourages our students to thrive and strive to better their residential communities..

Our goal is to actively promote equity, inclusion, and social justice by implementing inclusive processes, policies, practices, and initiatives that aim to dismantle barriers faced by students in their pursuit of education and personal goals.
