Compliment to our core suite of benefits
Willamette University provides an array of other opportunities for employees to enroll in programs that compliment our core suite of benefits (health, dental, retirement). These include life and disability benefits that are provided at no cost to all regular full-time, full-benefited employees. In addition, Willamette offers an array of voluntary benefit options to both full- and part-time regular employees (minimum 60% of full-time equivalency). Voluntary benefits provide competitively negotiated plans and many also provide for the convience of payroll deduction.
Optional life insurance and ADD benefits are made available for employees and their dependents, including spouses, domestic partners, and children, through the Group Term Life program.
Long Term Care Insurance (LTC) coverage is made available on a voluntary basis through John Hancock to all eligible Willamette University employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week, or are otherwise a .50 FTE employee, as well as their dependents.
