Overview

Shenyang is located in Northeast China and is the political, cultural and economic center of the Liaoning Province. WU students attend Liaoning University where many other Chinese and international students study. Students are given a stipend to create their own excursions.

Academics

While at Liaoning University students take Chinese language courses and content courses offered through the university’s College of International Studies.

Housing

Students live in international students dorms and take their meals at university cafeterias. Students can also prepare meals in their dorms.

Dates

The Shenyang program is available during either the fall or spring semester. Fall semester starts in September and concludes mid January; spring semester starts early February and ends late June.

Cost

Willamette tuition only. Room and board are not included in the cost paid to Willamette University. Students pay Liaoning University directly for room and board.
