The Office of International Education is sponsors TELLUS, a journal designed to reflect on the experiences of Willamette students abroad as well as international students who have joined our community here in Salem. TellUs has historically been a published journal, but now the journal has moved online! Students can publish submissions through the TellUs Blog site. See submission instructions below. 1. Sign into your TellUs blog via blog.willamette.edu - enter your WU user name and password. The TellUs blog will appear in the list of the blogs you are authorized to edit. For blog instructions or help visit the Language Learning Center's website. By submitting to Tellus you are giving Willamette University permission to reproduce these works in publications and/or displays. Please let us know if you have questions or concerns.
2. Follow the submission guidelines below for writings and photos with captions.
- What is the most memorable happening during your study abroad experience?
- What was the biggest difficulty during your study abroad experience?
- What do you want convey most to prospective study abroad students?
- How were you changed by your study abroad experience?
- Why did you decide to study in the country to which you went?
- What kind of social issues did you face on or did you learn about during study abroad?
- What was the best preparation before you joined your program?
Students submitting to TellUs to complete their Re-entry Activity for the Maximizing the Study Abroad Experience Course should upload submissions to the blog by October 15th.
