Beta Theta Pi

The gentlemen of the Gamma Sigma chapter of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity truly represent the ideals of what a Greek letter man should be. Their strong adherence to values - reflected in their motto, "Men of principle" - is apparent to all involved with the fraternity. It is also one of the guides by which new members are selected. Betas are involved across campus in strong positions of leadership and responsibility. They represent themselves in athletics across the board, as well as in multiple social and philanthropic organizations. The Gamma Sigma chapter enjoys great diversity and reflects that it only futher unites them as brothers. They are an important and integrated part of the Willamette University community.

Founded locally on January 4, 1947. Founded nationally on August 8, 1839.
