Opening Days Parent & Family Meal Tickets

Tickets for parents and family members for the Opening Days Picnic and Opening Days Lunch can no longer be purchased online.  Please purchase any tickets you may still need at Opening Days Check-in on Thursday, August 27th from 8am-11am in the Cat Cavern, 2nd floor of the University Center.

Opening Days Picnic

Thursday, August 27th

Menu

• Traeger Smoked Painted Hills beef brisket with whipped chipolte horseradish sauce
• Roasted garlic and thyme rubbed turkey breast
• Grilled local Wapato Washington peach halfs
• Roasted Egor's Acres sweet corn
• Late summer grilled vegetables
• Whole leafs hearts of romaine tossed with heirloom tomatoes and country olives
• Feta cheese and malted balsamic dressing
• Hermiston watermelon wedges
• Cascade Baking Co. rolls w/whipped butter
• Miniature homemade carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting

Tickets Information

• For adults and children 11 and older: $13.75 ($15.00 at the door)
• For children 10 and under (3 and under free): $6.00 ($6.50 at the door)
• New students will use their board plan so don't need to purchase tickets

Opening Days Lunch

Friday, August 28th

Menu

• Whole grain wild rice salad with heirloom beans and shittake dressing
• Roasted summer vegetable salad
• Cucumber radichio toss with fresh lemon lime vinagrette
• Smoked platters of chicken breast and quarters
• Local whole yanochi and akane certified organic apples
• Salem's own bagged Kettle Chips
• Barrels of crisp homemade pickles
• House made fudgy brownies

Ticket Information

• For adults and children 11 and older: $12.75 ($14.00 at the door)
• For children 10 and under (3 and under free): $6.00 ($6.50 at the door)
• New students will use their board plan so don't need to purchase tickets

Please note that if you purchaseed tickets online prior to the August 21st deadline, physical tickets will not be mailed.  When your student picks up their packet at Opening Days check-in on Thursday, August 27th, your tickets will be inside.

If you do not purchase tickets online, you may purchase them at Opening Days Check-in on Thursday, August 27th from 8am-11am in the Cat Cavern, 2nd floor of the University Center.
