Senior Soiree

The 2009 Senior Soiree took place on May 14, 2009. CLA graduates were invited to join their classmates for a final celebration before commencement. Hors D'oeuvres and drinks were provided by Bon Appetit and there was a presentation of the senior awards.

Each year, Willamette University recognizes students who have given meritorious service to the institution and the surrounding community by awarding the prestigious Senior Key and Senior Certificate Awards. Many students were nominated by their peers, faculty, and staff. The winners were then selected by an awards committee.

The 2009 Senior Key recipients were Cat-Lin Bui, Danielle Espiritu, Hayley Freedman, Elise Helvie, Bernard Merkel, Will Nevius, May Ohara, Lindsey Ross, and Larkin Smith. The 2009 Senior Certificate recipients were Holly Adams, Ethan Bancroft, Joe Gruber, Daniel Heathcock, Elizabeth Jaspers, Alejandro Jimenez, Trish Kahler, Sarah Kutten, Tim Migaki, Emilio Solano and David Taylor.
