Get a feel for college life by spending a week on the beautiful Willamette University campus in Salem, Oregon. You’ll be immersed in a college campus environment, living in a residence hall supervised by current college students. Make friends and have fun while learning everything you need to know to make decisions about your college career, including how to:

  • choose the college that’s right for you
  • understand the admission process
  • understand the financial aid process
  • manage your time and set goals
  • write an entrance essay that best conveys your strengths
  • be successful on the SAT exam
  • make the most of campus life
  • use the college library to greatest benefit

A typical day in College 101 will be much like a typical day of college. You’ll start off each morning with breakfast in Goudy Commons, acclaimed by Food Network as one of the best college cafeterias. Then you’ll head to one of the classes that will help you learn how to prepare yourself for college. After lunch, you’ll enjoy an afternoon of activities ranging from sports and recreation to field trips, college fairs, practice interviews, time management classes, and coaching sessions on admission essay writing. Join classmates for fun post-dinner social activities.
