We are excited to announce a new summer workshop! ART BY THE PARK is a residential workshop for adults.  It will be held on the Willamette University campus and will include overnight accommodations.  The workshop will be made up of a selection of art classes taught by Willamette Faculty and artists from the community.  Willamette's own on campus caterer, Bon Appétit, will provide meals for the guests, as well as presenting their own class The Art of Latin Cooking. The participants will have opportunities to visit the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, tour and enjoy the beautiful gardens at Willamette University, and explore the downtown area of Salem.  The July workshop dates allow participants to continue their art adventure by visiting the Salem Art Association's Annual Salem Art Fair and Festival, located only blocks away at Bush Pasture Park. 

Art Classes that will be offered include;  Beginning Color Theory, Beginning Watercolor, Chiaroscuro, Encaustics, Illuminate your Life Sketchbook Art, Photography, Portrait Drawing, Sumi-E Painting Workshop, and The Design of Perspective (Drawing).
