Teacher Research Topic

My teacher inquiry project involves the question of how to foster reading motivation for reluctant readers. I am especially interested in learning how to support motivation for boys, who, even in their elementary years, begin to fall behind their female peers in production of reading skills. I intend to implement and observe the function of student choice, parental involvement, and a student final product in reading motivation.
